Seasoned football administrator, Takyi Arhin believes that Kurt Okraku deserves to lead the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the second term.

Kurt Okraku was elected as the GFA boss in 2019 after the reign of the interim Normalization Committee.

The then Dreams FC President surprisingly beat-off competition from former Ghana FA Vice President George Afriyie to win the top position in Ghana Football.

Since his election, the Kurt Okraku-led administration have secured headline sponsorship deals for the Ghana Premier League, Womens Premier League and the Division One League among a host of other sponsors.

He has also introduced a gaming-changing refereeing policy dubbed "Catch them Young".

Unfortunately, the Black Stars couldn't progress past the group stages of the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year but secured their fourth World Cup appearance.

The county's football governing body will go to the polls next year, when his four-year term is due to expire.

Takyi Arhin affectionately known as Thunder in the football circle says Kurt Okraku's deserves to be re-elected as the Football Association's capo.

"You don't need to be told. Kurt Okraku should be handed a second term based on his work. If there is even a third term, he should continue, there are no two ways about that," he told Kessben FM/TV

"He has done an excellent job. Take a look at the coaching courses he's implemented, the catch them-young programs he's set up for aspiring refs, and the partnerships he's secured. My impression is that Kurt's administration is doing well," he concluded.
