Dreams FC yesterday gained promotion into Ghana's top flight just a year after been demoted to second tier.

There was an air of forced gaiety surrounding the players, coaches and management of the team after their 3-0 victory over Okwahu United- a victory confirming their promotion. One of the players who could not hide his joy was, versatile Manuel Eli Keke.

Eli Keke has been outstanding for the Dawu based club this term. He was very solid as centre back and was occasionally used as a defensive midfielder to minimise the beatings doled to his teammates.

The workaholic player has so far played 19 games scoring 2 goals.

"It has been a very difficult season for us. Qualifying to the premier league is no mean feat especially when some of our trusted players left us for other clubs locally and abroad. We owe all to God." He told

"The management, playing body, technical team and supporters all mucked in to ensure that we return to the elite league within the shortest possible time."

"We were greatly affected negatively by the decision that demoted us after a sterling season in our debut appearance in Ghana's top flight but God had other plans thus we ascribe all glory, honour and majesty to His name. We are back, opponents beware!" He quipped.
With two games to spare, Dreams FC who have so far lost only twice this term has a nine point difference between them and second placed Heart of Lions.
Kickgh. com welcomes Manuel Eli Keke and Dreams FC back to the Ghanaian top flight.
