MATCH REPORT: Ghana share spoils with Congo in Kumasi Featured

The senior national team of Ghana failed to recorded their first victory in the Group E of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after sharing spoils with Congo on Friday afternoon 
Ghana were held to a 1-1 draw by Congo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Red Devils managed to open the score in the first department of the game to frustrate the West African country at home. 
Thievy Bifouma snatched the opener for the Congolese in 18th minute of the game.
The Black Stars failed to materialise their numerous set-pieces awarded to them as the first half ended in a 1-0 lead in favor of the visitors. 
Atletico Madrid enforcer Thomas Teye Partey grabbed the leveller with a brilliant finish in the 86th minute. 
Coach Kwesi Appiah winless run in the qualification round continues as they failed to grab the match-winner.
Uganda sits on top of the group E with 7 points whiles Egypt peg second on the log with six points with Ghana and Congo occupying the third and fourth position respectively.
