Aduana Stars are set to hold talks with the officials of West African Football Academy (WAFA) over the possible acquisition of Gideon Waja.
Coach Yusif Abubakar wants to beef up his squad ahead of their second appearance in the CAF Champions League next year.
The 20-year-old who had a tremendous season with the Sogakope-based club in the just ended Ghanaian top-flight league.
"We want to excel in the CAF Champions League and we will be signing some players to make our squad stronger to compete with our opponents," a close source of the Dormaa-based club told Kickgh.com
"He [Gideon Waja] is one of the top players on our list and we are talking to his club either for a loan deal"
He earned a debut invitation to the senior national team of Ghana this year following his sterling performance.
Waja was a member of the Black Stars 'B' squad that won the 2017 WAFU Cup which was held in Ghana few months ago.
