BREAKING NEWS: Asamoah Gyan and Atsu ruled out of Egypt clash Featured

The Black Stars duo have been ruled out of Ghana's final match in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier due to injuries as earlier reported. 
Captain Asamoah Gyan and Christian Atsu have been excluded from the Black Stars game against the Pharaohs of Egypt at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Winger Christian Atsu pulled out of Ghana's training on Wednesday evening after sustaining a thigh injury as Gyan also picked up a fresh injury.
The two players were ruled out after they underwent a successful test in the capital, Accra on Thursday.
The Ghana FA official statement reads "Tests have revealed that winger Christian Atsu will not play for Ghana in Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Egypt,"
"Team doctor says the scans show Christian Atsu suffered a thigh muscle tear"
"Also another tests have revealed that Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan won't play in Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Egypt."
"Team doctor says scans show Gyan suffered at thigh strain following his injury in BlackStars training two days ago."
Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges are currently in the Central region preparing ahead of the Egypt match.
