The Accra High Court has dismissed the interlocutory injunction case of Accra Great Olympics on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) not start the 2017/18 football season in Ghana.

Accra Great Olympics placed an injunction on the league with only three-days left to start on the stipulated 11th February, 2018 which couldn't start because of the spontaneous letter served the FA by Olympics from court.

This left Accra Great Olympics and the Ghana Football Association to settle scores in court after Olympics thought the GFA were not using the regulations of the association to full effect after having genuine cases on Bechem United and Elmina Sharks which should have gone in their favour.

The court on its first hearing on the case asked both parties to furnish the court with better particulars on the pending issue to be handled before the 14th of February to aid in quick judgment on the case of which both Accra Great Olympics and Ghana Football Association did.

The court met both parties today 21st February, 2018 and has ruled in favour of the Ghana Football Association to continue with the organization and start of the 2017/18 season.

There will likely be an appeal on the case by Accra Great Olympics to re-address their issue for fair judgement even after exhausting all the legal committees at the FA and at the Accra High Court.
