Karela United dealt comfortably with Hearts of Oak at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park at Aiyinase by 3-1 to push them up on the league log and leave Hearts of Oak in wander land.

Daniel Kodie and William Opoku Mensah were the two players on the scoring sheet on the day for Hearts of Oak and Karela United respectively.

Daniel Kodie scored for Hearts of Oak in the first half to keep the Rainbow side in comfort and keep hopes high in picking points on the road.

Karela United had other ideas in the second half when substitute William Opoku Mensah scored three times within eighteen minutes to seal off the game for the home side.

This result leaves Hearts of Oak on a two game losing streak after losing at home to Elmina Sharks during the weekend with Karela United registering their second consecutive win after pipping Wa All Stars in Wa on Match Day Seven.
