The Rainbow club held their regional rivals to a two-all draw in club friendly on Saturday afternoon.
Accra Hearts of Oak managed to hold Liberty Professionals to a 2-2 stalemate at the Carl Reindolf Park in Dansoman.
Coach Seth Hoffman's charges piled much pressure on the homesters as they snatched the opener before the first fifteen minutes of the match.
Two-goal hero Joseph Esso opened the floodgate for the Hearts of Oak with a cool finish from Patrick Razak's cross on the 10th minute.
Six minutes to the half-hour mark, Esso doubled the lead for his side with a beautiful strike before Benjamin Eshun pulled one back on the 38th minute for Liberty.
After the break, Liberty Professional came back stronger to restore the parity on the 49th minute.
Benjamin Eshun registered his name again on the score sheet to end the day with a brace.
The two teams failed to convert their chances and set-pieces awarded to them as the match ended in a 2-2 draw after ninety-minutes.
