Asamoah Gyan optimistic of victory over Sierra Leone

The Black Stars captain is hopeful of a victory over the senior national team of Sierra Leone on Thursday.
Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan says he and his teammates will leave no stone unturned as they battle out with the West African country.
The four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions will face Sierra Leone in the third round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
”I’m not God but I’m sure with the quality that we have, we’ll be able to qualify,” Gyan told the media when the team arrived in Kumasi.
”In football, defeat comes in anyway but you’ll only have to be in your winning ways to get things going,” Gyan added.
”Everything is ready with us as players,” he added.
The 32-year-old also called on the fans to massively rally behind them to deliver perfectly against Sierra Leone.
”The most important thing is that we win our game.
”Everyone has his or her opinion, I’ll only have to be happy as a captain if we win our game.
”Kumasi fans are exceptional and I except a massive support from the fans here even though Thursdays is a working but wouldn’t stop them from throwing their support behind us,”
