Black stars deputy coach fails to confirm Ayew Brothers return into the national team

Deputy coach of the Black stars, Ibrahim Tanko has refused to confirm the return of the Ayew Brothers to the national team.
Andre Dede Ayew and his younger brother Jordan Ayew have not featured for the Black stars since the return of the head coach Kwesi Appiah despite their fine form at their clubs -- leaving their uncle Sola Ayew to lament over and over again.
Reports in the local media has emerged that the Fenerbahce winger and the Crystal Palace striker will not be called into the Black stars under the leadership of the head coach Kwesi Appiah.
Ibrahim Tanko, who is Appiah's assistant, has fueled the speculation when he refused to confirm the players return.
"The Ayew brothers are great guys but we're building a team and we know both already that is why we not inviting them now. If Sola Ayew is talking is normal for us because he is their uncle and feels the pain if they are not called," Ibrahim Tanko told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
"Jordan Ayew and Dede Andre are not problematic to the Black Stars as people speculate. I am not promising but they might get a call-up to the national team," he ended.
The Black stars will host Sierra Leone in Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday for the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
