Chiefs in Northern region were furious over Ayew Brothers snub from the Black stars, says uncle

Former Ghana star Solar Ayew and uncle to Andre and Jordan Ayew has reiterated that chiefs in the Northern part of the country were angered  over the continues exclusion of the duo from the Black stars.
The uncle of the Ayew brothers claims chiefs from the Northern region were furious with the Black stars coach Kwesi Appiah over his decision not to invite the two players into the national team.
He stressed that the chiefs believe that the Ayew brothers omission from the Black stars was clearly intentional following the unfavourable relationship between coach Kwesi Appiah and the duo's father Abedi Ayew.
But Salar Ayew insisted that it took his intervention to demagnetize their deception.
The local media has reported that Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have been recalled into the Black stars ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Ethiopia on November.
"It was a welcomed news for the family and we're hoping their return into the Black stars will bring something good to the team and the country as a whole," Solar Ayew told Ashh FM.
"I had to go round the Northern sector to erase the political thoughts of the chiefs concerning the Ayew brothers omission from the Black Stars," he claimed.
"The chiefs were surprised to see the Ayew brothers doing well in the various clubs in Europe but not getting a call up in the Black Stars."
"Ghanaians should expect something great from the Ayew brothers because they have the country at heart," he ended.
The Ayew brothers were rebuffed from the national team after the duo failed to travel with the Black stars for the return leg encounter against Congo in the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
