Kotoko's likely opponent in Confederation Cup Kariobangi Sharks ask bitterest rivals Hearts for support

Asante Kotoko likely opponent Kariobangi Sharks have called for support from their bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak after they leapfrogged Djibouti side ARTA Solar by 6-1 at home in the 1st leg of the preliminary round of the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup.
 
Kenyan Cup winner Kariobangi Sharks will meet Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko, who walked over Cameroonian side, in the 1/16 round of the competition when they eliminate their opponent.
 
And Kariobangi Sharks Chairman, Robert Maoga has called on Kotoko's arch rivals Hearts of Oak to rally support for his outfit when they come to Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
 
He added that they a good chance to eliminate the Porcupine Warriors regarding the country's football impasse.
 
"I would like to appeal to the fans of Hearts of Oak to come and support us in our Confederations cup match against Asante Kotoko," Robert Maoga told Kumasi-based Fox FM.
 
"We are have the advantage over Asante Kotoko because there is no league in Ghana, we have been playing competitively and have beaten top clubs here," he ended.
