Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has labelled his critics as "jealous" following the consistent criticisms against his decisions in the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Appiah, who is unfazed by the numerous criticisms, believes people criticise him because of hatred.

This comes after Ghana beat Guinea-Bissau by 2-0 to top Group F following their drawn games with Benin and defending champions Cameroon respectively.

"When you're criticised, you learn from it and then you make sure you do the right thing. I do the best I can to win all the matches but at the end you still have people who hate you or jealous of you. I really don't know," Kwesi Appiah told reporters at the post-match press conference.

“If you are a coach or a player and you are afraid of criticism then you should stop playing. People will say all sort of things but the most important thing is you deliver,” he ended.

Black Stars will lock horns with Tunisia on Monday, July 8, at the Ismailia Stadium.
