Hearts of Oak part ways with Malik Akowuah

The Rainbow club have announced the departure of the midfield dynamo following the expiration of his contract.

Hearts of Oak have mutually parted ways with Malik Akowuah ahead of the new Ghana Football season.
 
The 30-year-old joined the Capital-based club from fellow Premiership side Medeama SC in 2016.
 
The club's official statement reads "Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has taken the option not to renew the contract of midfielder Malik Akowuah following the expiration of his three-year deal at the club."
 
"We thank him for his professional service to the club and wish him the very best in his future endeavours."
