Black Meteors defender Zackaria Fuseini dedicates AFCON U23 qualification to Ghanaians

The stalwart guardsman has lauded his teammates for their efforts in grabbing them a place in the third edition of the CAF U23 Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt.

Ghana U23 and Berekum Chelsea defender Zackaria Fuseini showered praise on his teammates and also dedicated their qualification to all Ghanaians.
 
The Black Meteors qualified to the 2019 CAF U23 Cup of Nations after pipping the Algeria U23 side in the second leg tie on Tuesday evening.
 
Skipper Yaw Yeboah powered the Black Meteors to victory with his goal on the 65th minute to hand them a ticket to the tournament.
 
Fuseini couldn't feature the match after collapsing in the team's last training ahead of the game in Setif, Algeria.
 
"We dedicate the victory to all Ghanaians. We decided to play our heart out to qualify for the CAF U23 Cup of Nations," Fuseini told Kickgh.com
 
"We motivated each other ahead of the match and the after the recess when the game was 0-0. Our plan was to beat them without conceding and it happened"
 
"All praise to Allah for my life...I didn't see anything that happened but thanks to the Most High Allah..."
 
Ghana have joined the likes of Mali, Zambia Cameroon, Ivory Coast, South Africa and others for the CAF U23 Cup of Nations which will be staged between 5-22 November 2019 in Egypt.
 
The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the 2020 Olympics Games.
