The 61-year-old trainer revealed earlier that he will not extend his contract with the four times Africa Cup of Nations champions.
But the football governing body of the country is set to part ways with the Israeli gaffer with few months left on his contract.
According to sources, the GFA has tasked the former Chelsea coach to win all the two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification games - Uganda and Egypt.
"We're not satisfied with his work and his attitude of not staying in the country [Ghana]" an insider at the GFA told
"We held several meetings with him to stay here (Ghana) to watch most of the Ghana Premier League games but he refused to do that"
"He always tell us that he is leaving the country to monitor our players but we have not see any player that he has developed like what his predecessor Coach Kwesi Appiah did. We pay huge amount for him every month but he is not working"
"Grant does not monitor our player because he always invite players who are injured to the team in our recent call-ups"
"We're are ready to break the bank to terminate his contract if he fails to win all the needed points in the two games"
Grant led the Black Stars of Ghana to win a silver medal at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations held in Equatorial Guinea.
