The Ghana Football Association, GFA, as part of improving domestic football in the country will be organising a stakeholders meeting to educate stakeholders of the game on the do's and dont's of the game ahead of the impending season.

According to the Communications Director of the country's football governing body, Ibrahim Saanie Daara, "there are various levels of educational training that will be organised". These he asserted includes "marketing education, media education, match organization education, referees education and other new methods of attracting fans to the stadium".

Mr. Saanie Daara made this revelation in an interview with Ahoto FM in Kumasi.

The former BBC Sports anchor admitted that there are increasing number of interest from women for Ghana Football and the attempt to bring out new strategies to rekindle it more will be adapted by the GFA to address that issue during the stakeholders meeting.

"If you remember before last season started, we said we should be able to do something that can encourage women to come to stadium. And you will concur that we saw an increased number of women at our various stadia better than last season and we want to do something that will attract them more (to the stadia) from next season onwards", he added.

The GFA has in recent times has become a subject of mass ridicule as a result of what many consider as mishap in football administration with the just ended Ghana Premier League not having a headline sponsor.
