Justice Blay's contract with Kotoko expires; returns to Medeama Featured

The combative midfielder has returned to his parent club following the expiration of his loan spell at the Porcupine Warriors, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.
 
 
Ghanaian midfielder Justice Blay has left Asante Kotoko after his one-year loan stint at the club expired.
 
The 28-year-old has rejoined Medeama SC after a successful loan spell at Asante Kotoko in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
 
Asante Kotoko were in talks with the Tarkwa based club over the acquisition of Justice Blay but failed to sign him on permanent basis.
 
Blay joined Asante Kotoko on a one-year loan deal from Medeama SC prior to their 2019/20 CAF Inter-club competitions campaign.
 
He played an instrumental role in Asante Kotoko campaign in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup this term.
 
Blay scored two goals in his 13 league appearances for Asante Kotoko in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
 
He was voted the club's player of the month award in February.
