The Curious Case of Wa All Stars

Wa All Stars’s stock has fallen significantly since last season. The Northern Blues are having a torrid campaign in the Ghanaian topflight this term.
Medeama SC oust out Wa All Stars in a devastating manner at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park by 4-1.
A double from Kwasi Donsu and Kwame Boateng produced a superb outing for the league contenders with Richard Arthur cancelling out for the Northern Blues.
Medeama SC were on early showing when Kwasi Donsu gave his side the lead on the 11th minutes with his deflected free kick.
Kwame Boateng extended the lead on the 31st minute from the penalty spot to worsen the worse of Wa All Stars.
Agyenim Boateng won another penalty kick for Medeama SC before half time and it was neatly converted by Kwame Boateng to give the Tarkwa giant a commanding lead at half time.
Wa All Stars had hopes of making an incursion in the game when Richard Arthur scored with his head on the 49th minutes but was not enough to push them hard for the fight.
Medeama SC won their third penalty on the day on the 90+3 minutes and was beautifully taken by Kwasi Donsu to complete his brace for Medeama SC.
Wa All Stars continue to languish at the bottom of the league log as we approach the last game of the first round whiles Medeama SC command the first spot with that victory after 13 games with a game left to spare.
