It's time to move on — Kotoko target Latif Anabila tells AshantiGold Featured

The midfield dynamo has turned down an offer to extend his stay at the four-time Ghana Premier League champions.


Black Stars 'B' midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila has rejected a contract extension talks with his club AshantiGold SC.

Anabila is currently unattached following the expiration of his contract with the Miners lads.
Management of AshantiGold SC opened talks with the 23-year-old over a new deal but his manager, Alex Akummey has revealed that the offer tabled has been rejected by his client.
"AshantiGold SC engaged us for a possible return to the club but the player believes it's time for him to move on," Akummey told Oyerepa FM
Kickgh.com understands that Anabila is in advanced talks with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko over a possible switch this transfer window.
Anabila is rated as one of the best midfielders in the Ghana Premier League following his exploits with New Edubiase and Ashanti Gold SC.
He made fourteen appearances for Ashanti Gold SC before the suspension of the Ghanaian top-flight league following the Coronavirus pandemic.
Anabila was part of the Black Stars 'B' squad that won silver medal at the 2019 WAFU Cup held in Senegal.
