Dennis Votere joining Asante Kotoko Featured

The Porcupine Warriors have reportedly closed in on the acquisition of the lanky shot-stopper in the ongoing transfer window.

 
 

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are set to complete the signing of Dennis Votere Sungbawiere from Wa Suntaa FC for their next season's campaign.

 
According to Light FM, the 21-year-old is currently in Kumasi to finalize his sensational move to the most successful club in Ghana.
 
Votere Sungbawiere has been outstanding for the Wa-based Division One League side for the past seasons.
 
He played an instrumental role in Wa Suntaa FC qualification to the Ghanaian second-tier league to play in the Zone 1 of the competition.
 
The former Ghana U20 goalie kept eleven clean sheets in 15 game outings for Wa Suntaa FC during the 2018/19 season.
 
Following his performance, he was handed an invitation to the Black Satellites ahead of the 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifiers.
 
Asante Kotoko currently have four goalkeepers namely Kwame Baah, Felix Annan, Osei Kwame and Danlad Ibrahim.
 
Kickgh.com understands that former Ghana U17 goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim will be loaned out to a Premiership side to aid his development.
 
Osei Kwame is currently spending some time in the treatment room after a successful surgery months ago.
