The Porcupine Warriors have ended their contract with five senior players ahead of the 2020/21 season, can exclusively report.


Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have offloaded five players as they hope to excel in their season campaign.

Defender Augustine Sefah has been released by the Kumasi-based club following the expiration of his contract months ago.
He was refused a new deal after failing to excel during the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season which was cancelled due to Coronavirus pandemic.
Former Wa All Stars FC (now Legon Cities FC) duo Richard Arthur and Kelvin Andoh have got their contract terminated after a poor output under Coach Maxwell Konadu.
Former Black Stars defender Abass Mohammed who missed last season due to injury has also been offloaded after being declared as surplus to requirements by the club's technical team.
Youngster Douglas Owusu Ansah is also leaving the club after battling to earn for starting berth at the Porcupine Warriors for the past four seasons understands that five players of Asante Kotoko will be farmed out to other clubs before the transfer window close on October 31.
Asante Kotoko have already signed Emmanuel Keyekeh, Yusif Mubarik, Kwame Poku and Emmanuel Sarkodie for their 2020/21 season campaign.
