Top striker Hafiz Wontah Konkoni registered his first goal of the season as Bechem United narrowly humbled West Africa Football Academy at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in match-week two of the ongoing Ghana premier league.

The game commenced more unless in a balance form with both teams taking a clue from each other.

The game plan thrown into the game by the two gaffers looked virtually the same with the two teams slowing their attack to study the style of each other making it somehow a boring encounter in the first 15 minutes.

Approaching the half mark of the game, the Hunters begun to settle in the game- mounting lots of pressure on the Academy Boys.

Fine build from the back to midfield resulted into a sumptuous cross that came from the left and falls on marksman Hafiz Wontah Konkoni who jumped high over his marker to head into the net to break the deadlock for the home side. It finished 1-0 in the first half.

In the second half it was still the home team that were dictating the pace of the game creating some opportunities but failed to double their tally.

WAFA wasn't at their best today due to the nature of the Bechem pitch which obviously didn't fit Coach Prosper Nartey's 'tiki taka' style making things complicated for the away team.

No goal produced in the second half, Bechem United claim all three points in the end extending them to four points after two games.
