A penalty-kick neatly converted by Diawusie Taylor handed Karela United their first victory of the ongoing season against Inter Allies on Sunday afternoon


The 'Pride and Passion' lads managed to record a 1-0 win over Inter Allies in their match-week two clash at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Aiyinase.

Karela United started the match with an intensified pressure on the visitors as goalkeeper Rashid Seidu was called to duty severally with dangerous strikes.
Duo Diawusie Taylor and Richard Berko tormented the backline of Inter Allies as they were busily in search for the opener before recess but their efforts went furtile.
The first department of the match ended in a scoreless draw at the CAM Park.
After the break, Karela United continued their impressive performance to register the opener via a spot-kick.
Allies introduced Michael Kporvi, Nafiu Sulemana and Paul Abanga as replacements for Ivan Kpeglo, Kingsley Braye and Richmond Lamptey respectively.
A 75th minute penalty scored by Diawusie Taylor handed Karela United their first victory of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
