Hearts of Oak Head Coach Eduard Nii Odoom has affirmed he's very disappointed with the kind of performance his players exhibited on Monday night stating they should have buried the game earlier.
The Phobians commenced their season on Monday night with a tough encounter against Ashantigold SC in a game they were held to a 2-2 drawn game.
After Kwadwo Obeng Jr had given the Rainbow lads the lead going into the first half, Hans Kwofie also prevailed in the second half with both netting two a piece last night.
With this, the Phobian gaffer disclosed in his post match presser that he was very disappointed in the results last night stating they should have finished everything in the first half.
Also he added by saying he will have to work on his midfield due to how they got outplayed the likes of Yaw Annor, Appiah McCarthy and the rest though they connected really well in the second half.
Working on the finishing of his attackers was not excluded from his comments.
'I'm very disappointed with our performance in the first half. We created lots of glorious opportunities in both first and second half but failed to utilize then,' Odoom said in a post match press conference.
'My midfielders went off in the first half but I saw some positive in the due to how they connected in the second half. I will have to work on them and the finishing and my attackers going forward', he landed.
Hearts of Oak will be playing as guest to Inter Allies in match week three of the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
