Thomas Duah subtly jabs AshantiGold management for appointing 'Block-headed' Milovan Cirkovic as head coach Featured

The 41-year-old gaffer has taken swipe at the club's management team over the appointment of the Serbian as head coach.


AshantiGold SC assistant coach, Thomas Duah has described Milovan Cirkovic as a block headed coach after their 2-2 away draw with Hearts of Oak in the match-week two of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League on Tuesday evening.

Duah responded Milovan Cirkovic who disclosed during the post-match press conference that ignoring late substitution of Hans Kwofie by his deputy earned him a vital point against the Phobians.
"I was the person who told him [Milovan Cirkovic] to substitute in the last ten minutes of the game because the central pair of our oppenents were tired," Duah told Kessben FM
"We could have won the match should that man [Milovan Cirkovic] had listened to me, he is not a good coach,"
"He did similar thing in our league opener against Karela United...he changed the entire squad list which included Eric Esso and others,"
"I'm better than him... AshantiGold fans and management should thank me for that draw against Karela United....Oh yes, I deserve all the credits for  kicking against his decision to introduce Amos Addai instead of Esso against Karela United,"
AshantiGold SC are yet to lose or win after match-week two of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The Miners will be battling out with Burkinabe club Salitas FC in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.
