AshantiGold striker Hans Kwofie has been named Ghana Ghana Premier League Player of the Week following his exploits in their 2-2 away draw with Hearts of Oak on Tuesday evening.
Kwofie registered his name twice on the score sheet to aid the Miners pick a vital away point at the Accra Sports Stadium in their match-week two encounter against Hearts of Oak.
He re-joined the Obuasi-based club prior to the commencement of the 2020/21 season after abrogating his contract with Malaysian third-tier club Puchong Fuerza.
Currently, the 31-year-old has scored three goals in his two game outings for the Miners in the ongoing season.
He won the Ghana Premier League topscorer award during the 2016/17 season after scoring seventeen times.
