Ghanaian topflight side Accra Great Olympics have announced the appointment of Yaw Preko as their new head coach in the ongoing season.

The former Hearts of Oak forward steps in as replacement for Coach Annor Walker who is currently battling illness for more than a week now and has missed their last two league games against Aduana Stars and Ashantigold just last Sunday.

The 46-year-old gets appointment as head coach for the first time in his coaching career having previously served as assistant coach for Hearts of Oak, Black Satellites, Black Starlets etc.
The former Anderlecht man also deputised Japanese gaffer Kenichi Yatshuhachi at Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah in the 2016/17 season.
The 'Dade' boys have been very impressive under Annor Walker so far in the ongoing campaign recording an away victory against giants Kotoko and picking a vital point in Tarkwa as they currently sit 7th on the league log with 11 points.
Preko steps at the dugout for Great Olympics this weekend as they take on Inter Allies in matchweek nine of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
