The last 35 minutes of the game between   Dreams FC and Karela United was honoured this morning at the Dawu Park with Dreams FC emerging victorious after narrowly edging out Karela United by 1-0.

The game commenced yesterday with the first half been completed but the second half had to be postponed after a heavy downpour of rain in Dawu on the 55th minute.

Dreams FC resumed really well in the game creating series of opportunities calling goalkeeper Eddy Ansah to action notably that spectacular stop to deny Precious Boah from taking the lead.

The visitors at a point had to play with a man down after Yaw Acheampong went into the books of the referee for the second time due to a harsh tackle henceforth got sent off.

The host nipped on the numerical disadvantage to mount so much pressure on the Karela defence with Agyenim Boateng and Emmanuel Ocran posing so much threats on their opponents but that wasn't just enough.

Finally, Dreams FC snatched what they wanted after centre-back Asafo Abednago finally scored with a towering header to hand the home side the lead. Just what they have been hunting for.

Having taking the lead, it was still the 'Still Believe' lads who were dominating the encounter with Karela United showing no sign of getting back on level as it finished 1-0 in favour of the host in the end.

Dreams FC have now climbed up into the top six on the league table with 30 points and will take on Legon Cities FC in the next round of games of the ongoing GPL campaign.
