Romain Folz vacates AshantiGold coaching role after just a month Featured

French gaffer Romain Folz has resigned as the head coach of Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold SC with immediate effect, according to multiple reports.

 
 

Speculations has it that, the 30 year old is leaving the Miners just a month after assuming the role following a quarrel between him and the Management of the team with the actual reason still yet to be revealed from Obuasi.

 
Romain Folz, together with his assistant, at the same time Goalkeepers Trainer, Manu Rodriguez were spotted at the Kotoka International Airport leaving the shores of country en route to their respective homes at midnight of Tuesday.
 
The young tactician stepped in as replacement for Serbian Milovan Cirkovic who started the season wuth them and has since then honoured five matches in the ongoing campaign recording a defeat, two draws and two victories including an important victory over giants Hears of Oak in week 19.
 
Standing by to take over as usual will the assistant, Thomas Duah who will lead the team to their game against Techiman Eleven Wonders in week 23 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
