Halmstads BK forward, Sadat Karim has expressed his love and affection for Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak stating he cherished the club so much even before joining them in 2012.
The 29 year old has enjoyed lots of spells in the Ghanaian topflight but the notable is playing for Hearts of Oak where he had to spend just a year due to injuries having netted 6 goals in 25 matches in the 2012/13 season.
Speaking to Haske Radio in Asawase-Kumasi, the ex- RTU star disclosed he was very delighted when he heard Hearts of Oak wanted him because his love for the club was always alive and was poised to play his hearts out to grind them results and trophies during his spell with them.
He flourished and was admired by all the three coaches he worked with at the club but suffered some setbacks in the course which hindered his chances of staying in the club for many years. He said;
'Hearts of Oak even before I joined them was a club I cherish so much because I started supporting them at a tender age. So I was very excited when I heard they needed me those days.'
'I first came to meet a white coach who loved me so much, in fact he brought me to the club but got sacked along the way. I also played under CK Akonnor and David Duncan, It was a good time with them cos they liked my style but due to injuries, I had to at point left and join Inter Allies.'
Sadat Karim, 29, having left the 'Phobians in 2013 joined Swedish outfit BW 90 IF for a short spell before relaunching his career in the local league with Inter Allies thus in the 2013/14 season.
