South Africa champions Mamelodi Sundowns have shown strong interest in signing Hearts of Oak's elite gunman, Kwadwo Obeng Junior in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 22 year old striker has been outstanding and finished as the 'Phobians' top scorer netting 10 goals in 32 appearances to aid them clinch the Ghana Premier League for the first time in over a decade.

His stellar display in the just ended season, has triggered the interest of the 2016 African champions who are preparing a pleasant bid to acquire his service as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
Another South African side, AmaZulu FC are also keeping tabs on the former Nea Salamina goal poacher and will make a quick move should that opportunity jumps into their way.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are also poised to maintain most of their key players as they seek for nothing but an impressive campaign in next season's CAF Champions League of which the prelims starts in September.
