Elated Prosper Narteh pledges to make Kotoko the best in Africa Featured

Newly-appointed head coach of Asante Kotoko SC, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his excitement over the appointment and stated he will do his best to make Kotoko the best in Africa and the world.

The Porcupine Warriors days ago, announced the Cape Coast University lecturer as their new head coach for the next two campaigns coming in as successor for Portuguese gaffer Mariano Barreto.

The former Dwarfs head is joining from WAFA- where he did a tremendous job with the Academy boys in the just ended season inspiring them to the 3rd position at the end of last season with 56 points, trailing the winners with just five.
Reacting to his appointment, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has disclosed he feels very elated over this role and has pledged to offer all he could to restore Kotoko's glory days and moments. He wrote on social media; 
"I am awfully grateful for this opportunity to serve such a great club Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Thanks to HRM Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Board, Management and Supporters for reposing trust in me." 
"I will do my best to make Kotoko the best club in Ghana, Africa and the world."
The Sports Psychologist right away, is starting his preseason today with all the Kotoko players including the new guys expected to report today to get themselves prepared and poised for the upcoming GPL season.
