Head coach of Asante Kotoko Prosper Narteh Ogum has bemoaned that Bechem United gave them a run for their money.

The Porcupine Warriors continued their fine form in the 2021/22 league season by defeating Bechem United by 2-0.

Ganiu Ismail and Samuel Boateng got the goals for Kum Apem as they made a return to their favorite Baba Yara Stadium with a scintillating win over the Hunters.

“It is good, I mean it was a very good game and it is good for me because if you look at how tactically the game was, they were very defensively organized,” Prosper Ogum stated.

“Because of that they did not allow us to play those penetrative passes and it was difficult to actually get the ball behind their defence.”

“We’ll stick to our game plan, we always trust in our process, even when it is difficult we trust that we can still score and win.”

“I think we have just started so with time, it is a game model, it is a new game model I am trying to develop and I am trying to build in them so it will take some time and with time, they will get used to the game plan and two they will be used to playing in front of a big crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium Stadium,” Ogum concluded.

The win has propelled the Porcupine Warriors to comfortably lie atop of the league log awaiting to flip bounced any team that comes their way.
