MATCH REPORT: Eleven Wonders draws at home against Medeama Featured

Techiman Eleven Wonders was held to a 0-0 draw at home by Medeama SC in their matchday 3, of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Sunday. 

This was the second time the Sure Wonders drew since the commencement of the 2021/22 season, picking two out of possible nine points.


Joseph Tetteh Zutah’s strike was wasteful as it hits the crossbar after a superb attempt to give the Mauves the lead.


Abass Mohammed also pulled in a last gasp effort which was a bone cracking scare for Medeama as the two teams shared the spoils.


Medeama coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu was hoping to snatch a win against his former club after returning to the Bono East.


He handed debut to deadly striker, Akesse Akesse and defender Benjamin Abaidoo.


Eleven Wonders coach Yaw Acheampong is sitting on tenterhooks after suffering yet another setback at home.


The Sure Wonders latest result follows the side 1-0 defeat at home to AshGold and their 0-0 draw at Berekum Chelsea.


Medeama has now moved out of the relegation zone.
