The 44-year-old gaffer has said that his team's wastefulness in front of goal cost them during Wednesday night's 1-1 home draw with Real Tamale United (RTU).

Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has admitted that poor finishing cost his side to drop vital home points against RTU in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

A 47th minute strike from Mbella Etouga Thiery was cancelled out by David Abagna Sanda on the 70th minute to end the thrilling fixture in a one-all draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors struggled to convert their chances in both halves of the game as they were punished by the Northern Region based Premier League outfit by extending their winless streak to three matches.

Narteh Ogum believes  that a lack of a cutting edge in the final third was a key factor in the team's failure to record a win over Real Tamale United in their match-week eight encounter

"We played well and it was a game plan for the team. We created chances, just that we couldn't convert those chances," Narteh Ogum said after the game.

"The problem is about converting the chances. I think it's all about converting our chance and once we're able to convert them, we'll be there,"

Asante Kotoko occupies third position on the Ghana Premier League log with 14 points after match-day eight.
