Ghana powerhouse Accra Great Olympics continued their stellar performance in the GPL season with a 2-0 victory over Techiman Eleven Wonders FC at their makeshift home in Sogakope Park.

The Wonder lads whose season campaign has not being great thus far made this one count as they badgered their way through Eleven Wonders to give their fans a win on Boxing Day in their week ten clash on Sunday.

The Wonder club came into the game with a superb run of form, having drawn and won their last two matches.

Eleven Wonders headed into the match, having suffered back-to-back defeats in their last two matches in the Ghanaian topflight.

The home side had a fairly easy run in the first half over the neophytes. Yusif Abdul Razak broke the virginity of the game in the first half (35th minute).

James Akaminko nicked the second goal two minutes later to make it two before proceedings came to an end.

The away side however showed signs of brilliance in the second half as they came close to pulling one back but Amankwah Frank shot wide with Olympics goalie Stephen Kwaku at his mercy, much to the relief of the Rosalinda’s.

The overall output of Olympics has reveled in the victory as they have build on it as fans begin to take note of some remarkable improvements in the team’s performance and outlook.
