Berekum Chelsea managed to hold Medeama to a pulsating 1-1 stalemate in their match-week twelve encounter at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.

The Yellow and Mauves had to score a late leveller to extend their unbeaten streak to four matches after sharing spoils with Berekum Chelsea on Friday afternoon.

Berekum Chelsea commenced the fixture on a good note as they staged an intense pressure on the hosts to open the score before the half-hour mark.
On the 29th minute, Mohammed Alhassan Mankuyelli fetched the opener for Berekum Chelsea with a fine strike which ended the first half in a 1-0 lead in favor of the visitors.

Back from the break, Medeama SC looked dangerous upfront as they enjoyed majority of the possession with the introduction of Tetteh Zutah and Kwasi Donsu.
Substitute Kwasi Donsu snatched the equalizer with a powerful header on the 80th minute of the game.
Medeama SC had most of the goal glaring opportunities in the last ten minutes of the game but none of their attempts earned them the match-winner as it ended in a one-draw.
