With the Ghana Premier League top spot wide opened for the plucking and harvesting of points as Real Tamale United shared the spoils (1-1) with Karela United at the Aliu Mahama stadium in match-day 15 tie on Sunday.

Real Tamale United were hoping to overcome their recent road woes – with some inconsistent outings - as they ones again put up a disappointing display at home as they were held by Karela United.

The Pride of the North went ahead after 40th minutes, courtesy of Iddrisu Gadafi before they allowed a seemingly improving Karela United side to salvage a point in what looked like a very winnable game for the Way Una Lads.

Kelvin Andoh equalized for Karela on the 80th minute to force the match to end at a 1-1 stalemate.

The game remained fairly balanced after recess with both defenses holding strong despite RTU having the edge and firing from all cylinders in search of the winner.

RTU dropped to 11th on 19points whilst the Aiyenase Boys remained 8th on 21 points.
