West African Football Academy, WAFA, have lost their first game of the season against Elmina Sharks who have also registered their first win of the game.
 
Elmina Sharks beat WAFA by 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium through Benjamin Arthur in the first half and Daniel Obeng Crentsil in the second half.
 
Richmond Ayi of WAFA had to parry away a headed shot by Felix Addo before Elmina Sharks failed to take advantage of some defensive lapses from the WAFA defense on the 18th minute.
 
Benjamin Arthur broke the deadlock on the 33rd minute when he connected well to a free kick from Richard Mpong.
 
Right from the recess, Elmina Sharks kept pushing for more goals and it paid off on the 66th minute when Obeng Crentsil Daniel latched unto a pass by Ofoe Ofotsu inside the box to get the second goal.
 
The game was halted abruptly on the 68th when lights went off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for 45minutes.
 
The game saw little action after resumption of the game with Richard Atta of Elmina Sharks making good saves to win Elmina Sharks all three points at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
