Liberty Professionals’ teenage sensation Perry Addison Rockson has touted his abilities and his readiness to fight his way through to becoming a mainstay at the club. Rockson who was recently promoted from the club’s youth ranks plays as a lateral defender and is comfortable playing either as a left back or as left wing- back and can also play as a defensive midfielder.

As with most full-backs, Rockson loves to get forward, but it’s the manner in which he attacks that really makes him stand out.
He’s absolutely relentless, marauding into advanced positions at every opportunity and using his searing pace and direct running to make a difference high up the pitch.
He effectively combines sound defending with forward raids- he ticks all boxes. He’s strong in his tackles and a shrewd interceptor of the ball, while intelligent in possession and rarely beaten when coming against pacier wingers.
There is not a coach, who does not yearn to have a player of such quality at their disposal, for very often they make all the difference.
“It hasn’t been easy breaking into the first team due to the availability of many talented and experienced footballers but I won’t give up. Things will soon change. I am now concentrating on the basics because I need it to get to the top. I am young and have a lot to offer. I need not rush but rather buy my time.” He chirpily told
Rockson was however mindful of the thoughtfulness of his teammates, management and fans.
“I feel very happy at the club. The coach, players, management, board and fans have been very supportive. They always encourage me to press on regardless. There’s an aura of unity among us and that has been the secret behind our rosy campaign this term.”
Perry Addison Rockson made his debut in Liberty Professionals 4-0 triumph over Ebusua Dwarfs last month.
