GFA Election 2019: We'll resuscitate facilities at Ghanaman - Kurt Okraku

Executive Director of Dreams FC, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, has postulated that there is the need for the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence at Prampram to be upgraded into a world class facility to be able to house the various National Teams.

The aspiring Ghana Football Association President and a former Executive Committee Member believes that the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence should add more to Ghana football according to FIFA standard. However, the edifice is not reaping the purpose it was instated.

Kurt Okraku states that, in his realm as the FA President, he will resource the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence with technical and managerial acumen so as to meet the standard of that of the English and French.

"Ghanaman Center of Excellence can contribute a lot more to the football community than what it is doing now," Kurt opined.

"I am to resuscitate the facility both technically and managerially. We must quickly invest in Ghanaman to the level achieved by the English Football Association at St. George's National Football Training Center, one of the best training Center in the world. France can boast of the historic INF Clairefontaine," he continued.

He insisted in his manifesto that, it is the prerogative right of the FA to occupy the facility with modern sports equipments in order to serve all National Teams during their camping period.

"It is no secret that there's the need to review our architectural design of the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence to incorporate facilities like swimming pools, indoor pitches, spacious dormitories and doping centers," he stressed.

Kurt Okraku and his campaign team have intensified their campaign after the Vetting Committee of the Normalization Committee of Ghana Football Association passed him to contest the 25th October GFA General Election.
