Ibrahim Tanko linked with King Faisal coaching job

The former Ghana international is set to be named the head coach of the Ghana Premier League returnees, Kickgh.com has learnt.

King Faisal FC are reportedly holding talks with Ibrahim Tanko for their vacant coaching job ahead of the upcoming season.
 
Kickgh.com earlier reported that the Kumasi-based club has been acquired by ex-Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour.
 
Osei Kuffour took over from the club's founder Alhaji Karim Grunsah who agreed to sell the club to new owners after they regained a Premiership status.
 
Coach Tanko is currently the head coach of the Ghana U23 team.
 
Kickgh.com understand that he will take over the King Faisal coaching job after the Africa U23 Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
 
Coach Tanko is also one of the assistant coaches of the senior national team of Ghana.
