Coach Johnson Smith eyes an improved performance from Kotoko players

The stop-gap gaffer of the Porcupine Warriors lads is eyeing an improved out from his charges in their subsequent matches.

Asante Kotoko coach Johnson Smith says he is expecting an improved performance from his boys after their victory over Ebusua Dwarfs in a club friendly.

Goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi and Songne Yacouba helped the Asante Kotoko to pick a 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast.

"We played and possessed very well but didn’t utilise the spaces we created in the opponent," Coach Smith told reporters after the game.

"We should have played more direct defence-splitting passes for the strikers to feed on. We will correct that against Sky FC on Sunday.”

Asante Kotoko will face Division One League side Skyy FC in a friendly on Sunday.
