“We will beat Kotoko”- Prince Ato Bilson fires ahead of crunch game with Porcupine Warriors

Teenage sensation Prince Ato Bilson believes the Academy lads have what it takes to beat Asante Kotoko SC in their Wednesday fixture.

Prosper Nartey’s side won 1-0 on the road on Sunday against Accra Great Olympics with their opponents putting in a spirited first-half performance but Joseph Ato Bilson; the first choice goalkeeper of WAFA believes his side are in a pole position to triumph over the Ghanaian giants.

“It’s true we (WAFA) won against Olympics on Sunday but that was without a fight because our opponents really gave us a very difficult time especially in the first-half,” recalled the talented goal custodian, but the technical team and my colleagues did very well to resist their every effort. Everybody ran, got stuck in and fought hard hence the favourable result.”  He told kickgh.com

“They are strong, tough and quick,” said Ato Bilson of the Porcupine Warriors.

“We have to use our heads and try to keep the ball in the next encounter. They (Kotoko) wouldn’t like it when We (WAFA) dictates the pace as evidenced in our previous meetings. They prefer to play a physical game and attack using the flanks, so the key for us will be to stay patient, defend the ball at our feet and not to be sucked into the kind of game they want to play. I strongly believe We (WAFA) will beat Kotoko and send a strong signal to the clubs.”

Prince Ato Bilson had his first taste of league action in their triumph over Accra Great Olympics last Sunday after a long layoff due to injury.
