MATCH REPORT: King Faisal 1- 1 WAFA - Faisal share spoils with the Academy lads

The 'lnsha Allah' outfit winless streak continues following a stalemate outcome against the Red Bulls Arena teenagers in today's encounter

King Faisal FC shared the spoils with West African Football Academy in a 1-1 scoreline in matchday 9 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League at Baba Yara Stadium.

It was a game of both halves for each side as the home side dominated in the first half with the visitors in the second half.

Kotoko's on-loan forward Osman Ibrahim saw his strike effort in the first half stupendously parried by the Wafa shot-stopper to deny him an opener for his side.

The introduction of the skillful and pacey wideman Richard Danso in the second half made a great impact in the game for the visitors as it cushioned them to snatch the opener through a spot-kick by captain Abukari Ibrahim.

The home side made an early attempt to restore parity for the encounter but saw their numerous goal scoring chances being fluffed by their frontlines.

It took the magic and individual brilliance by the hosters talented left-footed man Samuel Moya to win a spot-kick which was neatly converted by Mustapha Mohammed to ensure the restoration of parity for both sides over the match outcome.

The visitors continued with their dangerous pressuring game for the match-killer but failed to utilize the scoring opportunities that came their way for the latter part of the encounter.

Following today's match results, the 'lnsha Allah' outfit are still languishing at the bottom of the league standings despite a point being added to their tally in the ongoing contest.
