Ten players to be Sacked — Kotoko coach

Asante Kotoko Youth Development Coach, George Asare has confirmed that, the club will part ways with about ten players in the set up when football resumes.
According to Asare, who is one of the three coaches put in charge of the formation of the all-new U15 and U19 teams, the effected players were not honest with their ages.
Asare and his colleague coaches led a five-day justify-your-inclusion exercise for the Youth Team in November in which 40 outfield players and 10 goalkeepers were picked for the two age categories.
"We were able to get the correct ages and the quality that we wanted from the justifier," Asare told Kotoko Express App
"However, we did some background checks on them with the help of Deputy Accounts Officer, Richard Akoto and found that about seven to 10 of the players we were looking up to did not give us their correct ages."
Asare reveals further that the coaches will continue the project with the remaining players while they expand their hunt to the Junior High and Senior High Schools.
"We are going to keep the others and then move to the JHS and SHS for more talents. I have started talking to the schools. The players we will get from the JHS will go to the U15 while the SHS players will go to the U19."
