Ghanaian champions Bibiani GoldStars’s pre-season in the capital, Accra, continues after once again beating Great Olympics by a slim 1-0 win in a preparatory friendly at the Legon Park Annex.

The Miners lost most of their first team players that won the league last season but have also been very busy on the market having made some massive additions more unless like a total overhaul ahead of the new season

Coach Frimpong Manso and his charges have been in Accra for weeks now looking to get themselves well prepared and ready as they have lots of assignments to accomplish ahead of them

After taking down Chance FC by 3-1 last Friday at the same venue, GoldStars walked on with another 1-0 victory in what was a very tough test against Great Olympics. The game finished goalless at half-time before Barimah Baah scored in the second half to win it narrowly for the champions.

Bibiani GoldStars will face giants Asante Kotoko in their opening game of the 2025 GHALCA top four tournament on Wednesday August 20, 2025
