MATCH REPORT: Storm Academy accounts for Accra Lions in a friendly encounter at Tema

Bepong Storm Academy triumphed over Accra Lions on Saturday in a friendly encounter at the Tema Stadium by 3-1.
Goals from Foster Abloenu and Suleiman Ganiu for Storm Academy cushioned the Bepong-based side into a sweet victory with the home side pulling one back in the last quarter of the game.
Accra Lions, with their home prowess, started the game with orgasmic intent to nail down Storm Academy by dictating the pace of the game in the first 15 minutes.
However, Storm Academy remained intrepid at defense and absorbed all the missiles threw at them whiles warming themselves up in the game.
Storm Academy took advantage of their possession play from the 20th minute to open the scoring on the 40th minute through Foster Abloenu just before half time.
In the second half, Accra Lions started just like the first half by pushing men upfront to get the equalizer but failed to penetrate the cemented defense of Storm Academy, though created plethora of chances in front of goal.
On the 65th minute against the run of play, Suleiman Ganiu gave Storm Academy the second goal after an exquisite inter positional play with his mate to put off the home in their slumber.
Accra Lions rewarded their hard work with a cushion on the 75th minute to throw more light and a possible come back into the game.
But it, however, turned sordid for the Tema-based team when Storm Academy dropped the icing on the cake by scoring the third goal on the 86th minute to run home as victors.
Storm Academy continued their good run of form after arriving from Germany in a friendly tour to brush aside Accra Lions by 3-1 at Tema Stadium after 90 minutes.
