SAD NEWS: Armed robbers attack Asokwa Deportivo

Division One League side Asokwa Deportivo were attacked by armed robbers on their way to Prestea to face Achiken FC in the GFA Normalization Committee Special Cup.

The Kumasi based second-tier club was attacked by the unknown six armed men on Sunday morning at Jacobu.
According to reports, the armed robbers took away mobile phones, jerseys, player registration cards and many others.
It is also believed that an amount of Gh¢ 4,700 was taken from the club's chief executive officer, Mr Amidu Abdualla and his other management members.
Asokwa Deportivo has reported the case to the Anhwiaa Police.
